The service connects personal computers or other devices to the University network, provided they have an available Ethernet port.

Who is it for?
This service is available to the University of Athens (UoA) staff and to private businesses operating within the UoA campus.

How to obtain a connection:

1. Locate a free network socket near your workstation.

2. Note the identifiers printed on the socket.

3. Contact the User Support Service at 210 727 5600 to request activation.

4. Technicians from the Network Operations and Management Center will activate the socket and then reach out to you with the credentials you need to enter into your computer or network device. They will also provide telephone or written instructions on how to configure these settings.
